ReplyDeleteI live in Shanghai and googled china body shop as I was hoping to find something about when or if body shop would open a store over here, but I couldnt find any useful information.
However, I found this blog!
So perhaps you know something about the Body Shop in China deal?
I've heard the Body Shop has opened in India, so wouldnt China be the next logical step?

ReplyDeleteWe don't have any The Body Shop stores in China and I don't think there are any plans to start there sorry.
Although the reason why would be better directed towards The Body Shop International's Asia Pacific Office in Singapore. Here are their contact details:

ReplyDeleteThe Body Shop does not have any stores in China as Chinese Legislation requires all cosmetics to be tested on animals to be deemed 'safe' to be imported into China.
The Body Shop of course does not test on animals and will not change our values to open stores in China; this is why there are no stores there.
